(TCS) — Charlotte is one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities, according to a new U.S. Census report. Between July 2022 to July 2023, the city gained 15,607 people, reaching a population of 911,311. That is third-highest growth in the U.S. trailing only San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas, the study found. Jacksonville and Port St. Lucie, both in Florida, rounded out the top five. Charlotte also ranked 15th nationally in city populations.

Berlin man accused of raping unconscious woman

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Somerset County have charged a Berlin man after he was accused of raping an unconscious woman at his home. Troopers say Christopher Crites, 49, faces charges of rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault, according to online court documents. Investigators say on August 21 of last year, troopers received a report of a sexual assault in which the victim claimed that she had been raped by Crites.
