MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — New reports have been released detailing incidents involving the estranged wife of a South Carolina pastor, 30-year-old Mica Miller, who died by suicide.
Miller died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 27 at the Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, North Carolina. Since then, the details surrounding her death have gained national interest.
WPDE requested reports from the Myrtle Beach Police Dept. (MBPD) that listed Mica Miller as a victim.
Altoona, PA (WJAC) — State police in Blair County say an Altoona man is behind bars after he was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl earlier this year. Troopers say in early March, authorities were contacted to investigate the alleged sexual assault of a young girl after she had been reported missing and then returned, at which time she reportedly told her family that she had "engaged in sexual intercourse" with 24-year-old Jesus Lamour Romero.
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Pennsylvania wildlife officials say multiple juveniles have pleaded guilty to illegally killing 10 deer in Cambria County last fall.
The Pennsylvania Game Commissionposted earlier this week that the juveniles recently entered pleas to felony unlawful killing or taking of big game.
Authorities say the investigation began in the fall of 2023 when wildlife officials received multiple reports of deer being shot at night, in the Dysart area of Cambria County.
University Park, PA (WJAC) — A former Penn State administrator is planning to take legal action against the university.
Emme Devonish was named as the university’s ethics officer in September of 2020.
She recently left Penn State and has now filed notice of a pending discrimination civil suit in Centre County court.
Specifically, Devonish is claiming violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.

PORTAGE, Pa. (WJAC) — A snow emergency has been declared in Portage Borough, officials say.
Mayor James Kissell said the snow and ice emergency is effective immediately and will last until 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
During this time, the mayor says there will be no parking allowed on any avenues within the borough.
Officials say the Portage Borough Winter Parking Ordinance will be strictly enforced by police and parking is not allowed on the even side of the street on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; and the odd side Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Officials offered an update Friday afternoon on the shooting thatleft an officer injured on Thursday morning.
They identified the critically injured officer as Detective Kyle Gilmartin, who has been with the department for nine years.
Gilmartin remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition at Geisinger CMC.
Detective Kyle Gilmartin was injured on 01/11/24 from an officer-involved shooting in West Scranton. Gilmartin boasts a commendable 9-year tenure with the Scranton Police Department.

Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., decried an organizer of Syracuse University’s Gaza solidarity encampment Tuesday, saying their posts regarding Hamas and the war in Gaza are indefensible. An encampment of over 70 tents has taken over Syracuse’s Quad in protest of the school’s refusal to condemn Israel in its war with Hamas terrorists. Individuals occupying the encampment have allegedly been witnessed “following Jewish students that walk past the tent encampment in an attempt to harass them.
